Letterpress

Did you know we still offer Letterpress printing?  Letterpress is an elegant and classic form of print which is making a comeback. It is a hark back to an era when print was an art form, a skill and a true trade.

Our Heidelberg Platens are still in daily use for numbering, punching out and kiss-cutting, but also for Invitations, Notecards, Business Cards and Posters etc.

Letterpress is ideal for working with heavy card or board to give your printing a traditional look, but by combining the old-fashioned ways with todays modern techniques we can offer a truly unique look for your business or event.

If you would like to see some samples or discuss any ideas with us please email, phone or pop in to see us.  If you would like to find out more about Letterpress printing in general please click here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Letterpress_printing

43 Years!

We are at the beginning of our 43rd year in business and we would like to thank all of our customers, new and old, for supporting us along the way.  Whether you are a business placing monthly orders or an individual who occasionally comes in for personal stationery – you are all important to us.

Packwood Printers Limited has seen many changes over the years, within our business and within the Printing Industry and we pride ourselves that we have retained our old fashioned charm and ethos (would you believe we still have the same two machines that Peter Packwood & Derek Key started with all those years ago!?!) while remaining current and abreast of changes within the industry.  We offer our customers Lithographic, Digital and Wide Format Print as well as still using traditional Letterpress.

We are looking forward to the next 43 years, so pop in and see us soon!
